    About the show:

    In 2005 , Oxygen and Mo’Nique started something big with Mo’Nique’s F.A.T. Chance - television’s first full-figured reality beauty competition. Encouraging women everywhere to accept and embrace their curves, F.A.T. Chance is all about teaching plus-sized glamour girls to love and feel good about themselves (and their bodies) as they are.

    Now, Mo'Nique's F.A.T. Chance is back for a 3rd season. This year will be the most exciting because it in Paris, France. Sharon Quinn runner-up 2005 will appear on the show.

    Mo'nique's F.A.T. Chance Compitions 1 and 2 are now on DVD.

    F.A.T Chance the Series
    It has been reported that F.A.T Chance Paris will be a 10 week series. This will make the show a plus size reality show. The casting special featuring 3 online finalist will air July 21 10pmEST on the Oxygyen network.

    2005 winner of miss F.A.T. Joanna Borgella is signed to the Wilhelmina modeling agency. Joanna has appeared in several magazines and is working on a clothing line and singing career. She's currently working on a make-over show.

    About Mo'nique

    Mo'Nique Date of Birth: December 11, 1967. Currently married with 4 Children.

    Growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, Mo'Nique Imes was known for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, but she didn't consider pursuing a career in comedy until 1988 when her brother dared her to perform onstage. To her surprise, she received a standing ovation and could no longer deny that performing was in her blood.

    She made appearances at Showtime at the Apollo, The Montreal Comedy Festival, Def Comedy Jam, Apollo Comedy Hour, Snaps, Comic View, and Uptown Comedy Club. For a while, she also worked as the co-host of Washington D.C.'s WHUR Radio morning show.

    Mo'Nique landed guest appearances on television shows such as Sin City Spectacular and Moesha before being given a starring role on the hit UPN TV series The Parkers in 1999. For her work on the show, she has won three Image Awards as Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series in 2001, 2002 and 2004. She has also won a Black Reel award as Best Supporting Actress for her role in the TV movie Good Fences (2003). Mo"nique also hosted showtime at the Apollo(2002-2006), The BET Awards (2003, 2004, 2007). Flavor of love girls: Charm School (2007)

    Her movie debut was playing Kahlia in the comedy 3 Strikes (2000), and since then she has also appeared in films such as Two Can Play at that Game (2001), the Steven Seagal Action Thriller Half Past Dead (2002), Soul Plane (2004) and Beauty Shop (2004).Paht Girlz (2006), Shadow Boxer (2006).
